This new forged carbon limited edition watch from Franck Muller is to commemorate racing legend, Bill Auberlen's "Race to 61" wins as the winningest driver in motor sport history. Auberlen's race career includes the most IMSA pole positions (43), a long-time partnership with BMW, and most races in a BMW war than anyone else in the world (426). At 63 victories today, Bill Auberlen is the world's winningest motor sports driver and the inspiration for this incredible limited edition timepiece.
To commemorate Bill's race to the 61st victory, Franck Muller designed a unique collection of 3 watches that are available in 18k Rose Gold, forged carbon fiber, and proprietary colored titanium. Only 61 pieces of each watch will be manufactured and distributed in the United States ONLY to authorized dealers of Franck Muller.
The engine of these limited edition timepieces is an automatic self-winding mechanical skeletonized movement with a 42 hour power reserve. It features a bi-directional winding system. Each case has a sapphire crystal on the front and the back, and the rear crystal is engraved with commemorative details. Each timepiece is also engraved with its individual serial number out of the 61 total pieces made for the world.
